I have shifted all my postings to hazel-wong.blogspot.com

Been trying to look for a new template for my blog, not much choices thou.. unlike blogspot, thousand and one to choose from. And there are so much additional widget to add in, esp the tagboard.

Sad to know that we are not able to add in the shoutbox in wordpress. Anyone there to help fix the problem?

:-(

Interesting Jokes

Attended Alamak aka Hui Ge’s youngest daughter wedding on Saturday. Heard many interesting inside news from Ru Ping. But nothing beats the Japanese name which she had came out with for Mark Lee’s daughter.

Ru Ping: You know, I was telling Mark Lee. Since her daughter is made from Japan, he should give her daughter a Japanese name.

Hazel: What leh?

Ru Ping: Japanese name always ended with Zi (子). So I asked him to name her daughter “淡淡无代子”.

Hazel: Nothing special mah?

Ru Ping: Of course there is a meaning la. You read in Hokkien… (Tiam Tiam Bo Dai Zhi)… means Everytime nothing to do!

Hazel: Fainted! But quite funny thou!

Gracious Society

Isn’t this obvious? Gracious Society? Or just “training” us to get ready for the IR and the forthcoming 2nd season of F1?

Sounds like the Olympics in China this year! Government trying all ways to educate the people of China to be more polite and more gracious, so as to leave a good impression to all.

Are we not gracious enough? I reckon Singaporean have been very “obedience” all these while.

Government says “No little, else we will fine you!” … We obliged

Government says ” No spitting, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Government says “No jaywalking, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Government says “No speeding, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Government says “No chewing gum is allowed into Singapore, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Government says “No smoking in the pubs!” We obliged

Government says “We must pay bills on time, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Government says “No alcohol will be allowed to sell after 12midnight, else we will fine you!” We obliged

Good gosh! I bet the list goes on…

Speaker corner? What’s that? Speaker corner no speaker? Why? Scared kena fine for pin-pointing the government? I admired those who dare to speak at the speaker corner lately, but strangely, all topics have to be submitted or rather being screened before they are allowed to bring to the speaker corner! What rubbish! What rights do we have? Saw a piece of news last 2 weeks, a Sing pore gay has just submitted papers asking to speak at the speaker corner on gay rights in Singapore, he is asking more Singapore gays to join him at the speaker corner, till date, only him is willing to do so! Why is this so? Reason being simple, cos Singapore is a “fine” Society since we are young! We have been educated for years to oblige that! Henceforth, no one dares to challenge! For just one reason… scared being “marked”

Talking about being “marked”! What the hell! Why must they shout our names DAMN so loud before allowing us to register for the election! I seriously don’t understand! They would simply know if we had registered ourself for election if we produce our identification at the point of registration. They don’t need to specifically shouted our name damn so loud to inform everyone we are there. Well, as much as I can guess, they just want to scare us, and just want to enforce that we MUST make our decision right!

And there again… I am sure Singaporean will be scared to death by their obtuse action!

Amber Lounge Party

F1 party was huge!!! Every corner of the pubs in Singapore are finding ways and all reasons to hold F1 party. But seriously, nothing compares to the official F1 race party at Amber Lounge.

We went there early having the thought that we will definitely be able to get a glim of Lewis Hamilton! Having that in mind, we stepped into the lounge at 9pm sharp. Yes, we are being offer a VIP seat with 3 damn big sofa, yes, 3 big sofa just for the 2 of us! But yes, that’s the VIP treatment, I guess! Having said is a party by Johnnie Walker, our table is filled with Black and Red label of Johnnie Walker, of course our own brand alcohol – Tiger Beer, and of course vodka mixed.

I would say our seat is the best view cos I could see all stars that accidentally walked thru their way into the lounge, one by one, local artistes, Erica & sister, Eunice, FD, Xiao S, super models, a few of the good looking fly entertainment talents (whom I seriously don’t know their names, but they look good thou!), Patricia Mok! (the saga woman! She was on paper, all becos of the valet keys gone missing!). I am caught by surprised that she make an effort to come over and say “Hello, Hazel, surprised to see you here, you drink one meh?” I don’t actually, but I feel prestige to be invited to the exclusive F1 party in Singapore! No many of them got a chance lor! And most importantly, not even one MediaCorp artistes were being invited lor!

(Patricia was there because his friend from Johnnie Walker invited her!)

… Back to the waiting…. not wanting to leave my seat cos I am still waiting for Lewis! While getting abit sianz, hey, I saw one Ang Mo being secured in with a few security.

Hazel: Who’s that?
Hubby: You also don’t know? Is Mika Hakkinen!
Hazel: Huh? Who?
Hubby: F1 world champion!
Hazel: Really! Shit! Should tell me earlier, I want to take picture since I cannot see Lewis.

Damn it! Too late! I am too slow compare to those Ang Mo woman! Yes, lots of them at the pub! I wonder who they are! They don’t look chio lor!

We waited till about 3am, still no sign of Lewis! Sad! Is ok! I shall wait for you next year!

Not sure if David Beckham will turn up at the Party!

Oh yes, heard that the party pass can sell it at 500 euro, good gosh! That’s actually cost about $1,100 Singapore dollars! Hmm, should I sell it? 2 X $1,100 = $2,200! That’s good money thou! I can get one more LV limited edition neverfull from Japan thou! :-)

Did pedicure during lunch time, going for a hair treatment tomorrow, bought a new pair of heel from ALDO, and a party dress from M Phosis. YES, getting all ready for the F1 party at AMBER LOUNGE… for the VIPs, celebrities and all those rich and famous! *blink blink*. And of course not forgetting my new LV party bag too! Is another present from Hubby! :-P

Good gosh! This is terrible! What is life mean to you? Dont’ you have a heart? You are such a cruel creature!

I am always bias against China people! Strongly aggressive bias! They are rude and loud! Unhygienic! Not gracious at all in public!

Why is there so many of them in Singapore now? Can they government do something? Please do a complete scan before allowing them into Singapore!

“Hi friends, the following items have been recalled due to the China’s milk situation. This is real! M&M, Snicker, Mento’s yoghurt bottle, Dove Choc, Orea waffle stick, Monmilk, Dutchlady sterilised milk, Walls all natural mango, mini Cornetto and Youcan ice-cream. We have been asked by AVA to remove them from our stores. If you have any items in your house, throw them immiediately.”

If only they had put their knowledge into somewhere useful to the society, and not doing something dreadful to human beings! The world will be saved!

To the cuel idiots: Please think of your family before doing things like this! One of your family members might be out there consuming food “created” by YOU!

My wish came true!

Thanks dear! You fullfil my dreams! I have the “M” series ROLEX collection! M series is the latest 08 collection!

Hubby bought a matching pair…

My tai-tai dream is almost complete! Can’t wait to to stop working!

BKK rejuvenating trip

It has been a month after the trip that I have time to upload some of the pictures taken from the rejuvenating trip.

* Looking at the time now, 3am… hubby was sound asleep… why I can’t sleep like him?

Trip was booked thru wofi.com. Package price for 2, staying at BKK Intercontinental Hotel, flying by Singapore Airline, 1st flight out from Singapore, last trip back from BKK cost us only $1683. Damn good deal right?

However, package does not include breakfast, front line staff was pretty smart, and they made an effort to up-sell us their Ambassador Priority Card. While deciding should we join the club, there she was already chaperoning us to the lift, up to our hotel room. Through our way to our hotel room, thou not long, hmm, guess about 5 – 7 minutes, we are in!

Hubby thinks the package is damn cheap. Guess what, is only 5,000B. This includes daily breakfast for 2, freeflow of coffee or tea with afternoon snacks daily, happy hours with freeflow of alcohol drinks and canapés daily at the members lounge. Bear in mind is Intercontinental Hotel. That’s the one just opposite Erawan Shine (The Four Face Buddha).

Actually they are pretty smart, upon signing the package; they give us a complimentary free night stay valid up to 6 months. And with these, we are in dilemma… This means that we are not able to get the damn good deal at wofi anymore, cos the voucher is valid only if we booked straight with them. And having said that, I was just been informed that to stay at BKK Intercontinental rated about 6,600B per room per night.

Which means that Hubby will have to spend more $$ to pamper me!!! J
